2020 Vision

Here we are half way through January and I am so excited because I FINALLY FOUND my ONE WORD to focus on during 2020. It has been simmering below the surface for about 3 weeks but I couldn't quite find the perfect word, I was very close... Let me explain.Last year my word was ADVENTURE. And Adventure I did!!! Goodness. When putting my 19 goals in 2019 together last January, my overall focus was Adventure. I set my intentions on action, activity, travel, music, and more. Looking back at 2019 I had traveled to 15+ cities, attended 15+ music concerts with my husband, started a podcast with a friend (More to my Story Podcast), hit a big goal with my care package company (Care Package Queens at Front Porch Packages) designed new products with my hand stamping business (Good Carma - Hand Stamped Jewelry & More) and exceeded my hope for coaching clients (with You Got Joy). It was a wonderful adventurous year! I pushed myself past some comfort zones to achieve all that I hoped.

THIS YEAR...??? my focus is almost exact OPPOSITE! This year, my focus will be on INFLOWING. What does this mean you ask??? This year I want to burrow IN. I want to focus on self development, I want to simplify, I want to declutter. This year it's about getting rid of as much MESS as I can to clear the path for greater things to come. This year is a preparation year. A nesting year. A year to gather what is most important to me and then enJOY. This year I want to be even MORE intentional than I usually am (ha.) This year I want to find more peace, more calm, more spiritual moments. This year I want to work on my INFLOW so that next year I can have strength and energy and time and space to take bigger leaps again. I have NO IDEA why I feel this pull towards inflow, but it feels right and I am excited.Have you taken some time to think about what your focus for 2020 might be? I love the symbolism of 2020 Vision!
